Granular Recovery of E-Mail Objects for Microsoft Exchange 2007
"Before we purchased FilesX Xchange Restore, user requests to recover lost e-mails were denied because it was just too time consuming, and would often be impossible, to try to recover these items from our backup tapes. Now, we can easily pull back anything they ask for in just a few minutes." - Network Administrator, U.S. Department of State
Microsoft Exchange has become a critical business system for most companies and government agencies, but the database structure that is at the heart of these systems makes it difficult to retrieve individual objects, including messages, attachments, contacts, calendar entries, notes and tasks, without restoring the entire Exchange Database (EDB).
FilesX has developed patent-pending technology that can peer into the EDB, even one that is corrupted, and pull out these individual e-mail assets. This technology is now packaged in Xchange Restore™ 2007, which can recover any e-mail objects from EDBs in Exchange versions 2000, 2003 and 2007.
With Xchange Restore™ it takes just a quick point-and click in the Explorer-like interface to copy whatever you need into a .pst file; or you can send the selected item(s) to another mailbox via SMPT.
Xchange Restore™ works in conjunction Xpress Mount®, the file-system restore interface in Xpress Restore®, our comprehensive next-generation data protection solution. Or, Xchange Restore™ can be used as a standalone tool in SAN environments where mountable disk-based snapshot copies of the EDB are available.
